Academic Catalog Information

The catalog contains information regarding academic programs, admission requirements and course descriptions for a given academic year. The academic calendar year begins on the first day of instruction of the fall trimester. This is the date when the new catalog becomes effective.

Your catalog year is determined by the date of admission beginning with the first date of the academic calendar year. For example:

  • All students formally admitted before the first day of instruction to the fall trimester, will follow the prior year catalog.
  • All students formally admitted on or after the first day of instruction to the fall trimester start date will follow the catalog year starting with the fall trimester for that year.

Admission status is valid for one year from date of admission. After admission and enrollment, you may select a later catalog year. Your academic advisor will guide you in selecting the catalog that most accurately reflects your education goals.

Students admitted to the MA in Psychology program or to any of the programs in the Marybelle and S. Paul Musco School of Nursing and Health Professions will be admitted to the catalog based on the program start date and not the admission date (See MA in Psychology and the Marybelle and S. Paul Musco School of Nursing and Health Professions section in the catalog).
