Graduate Certificate: Economic Development Using Location Intelligence

This certificate focuses on the concepts of economic development and the use of location intelligence data in the ethical decision-making process. Learners will employ spatial methods of organizing, planning, and managing business commercial change to a specific region. Utilizing Esri training and Brandman coursework, they will apply Geographical Information System (GIS) and data analytics to data-driven decision-making.

Admission to the Certificate Program

Admission to the certificate program is granted to individuals who apply and meet the standards for admission to a graduate program. The certificate is awarded upon successful completion of all coursework with a minimum grade of “C” and an overall grade point average of 3.0 or above. No transfer credits may be used. Economic Development Using Location Intelligence Graduate Certificate course requirements may be applied toward the completion of a graduate degree in Business, Leadership, Human Resources, Public Administration or GIS and Data Analytics.
